Association "Energy Efficient Cities of Ukraine" (EECU)


The Association "Energy Efficient Cities of Ukraine" (EECU) was founded in 2007. Today EECU unites more than 70 Ukrainian cities, both large and small scale, from all regions of Ukraine. EECU itself is a member of two European associations of local governments – "Energy Cities" and "Climate Alliance" – and the only national support structure of the Covenant of Mayors in Ukraine.

 EECU constantly provides consultations, organises conferences, discussion panels, seminars and workshops, implements joint projects and study visits for its member cities. All activities are intended to help cities implement an energy management system, develop an action plan for their energy policy and involve the public to act together in response to local energy challenges.

Ecology and Natural Resources Department of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration ensures the implementation of state and regional programs for environmental protection, preparation and implementation of the regional budget.



In 1975, by the decision of the Government, the Production Association of the Coking Industry “Ukrkoks” was created - a non-governmental off-budget association.
Currently, the Ukrainian Scientific and Production Association unites 7 coking plants and enterprises of Ukraine, the Association also includes a phenolic plant, two sectoral institutes SE “UKHIN” and SE GIPROKOKS, and a number of repair companies for manufacturing of equipment for the coking industry.
The association was formed on the basis of combining the industrial and scientific interests of the participants with the aim of coordinating their activities to solve common economic and social tasks, ensuring the development of the coke industry, concentrating the intellectual, technological, economic potential, human resources, and achieving the world level of competitiveness of the coking industry.

The Association of Cement Manufacturers of Ukraine was established from the Ukrainian Association of Enterprises and Organizations of the Cement Industry "Ukrcement". In January 2004, the Ukrainian Association of Enterprises and Organizations of the Cement Industry "Ukrcement" was reorganized from the Ukrainian Concern of Enterprises and Organizations of the Cement and Asbestos-cement Industry "Ukrcement" and became its legal successor. The mission of the Association is to actively protect the interests of the producers of clinker and cement of Ukraine and authoritative reflection of the views of the members of the Association in matters relating to the industry. Positioning of the industry as the leading force in the sustainable development of Ukraine.

Professional Association of Ecologists of Ukraine

Created with a purpose, to share experience of solving real problems of industrial enterprises. Assists in establishing partnerships with the government, establishing business relationships with the best international and Ukrainian companies to protect the environment and Ukraine’s fulfillment of all international environmental commitments undertaken by Ukraine under the EU Integration Agreement.
